Vanguard Systems Acquires Elite Document Solutions, Merger Expands Offerings

“Perfect fit” delivers single-source solutions

Media, Pa. – Vanguard Systems (www.vansystems.com) and Elite Document Solutions, Inc (www.elitedocuments.com) merged today to deliver comprehensive, multiplatform Forms, Imaging, Document Management, Content Management, Workflow Records Management and Archival solution.  Vanguard and Elite have had been business partners  for years, working together to provide integrated solutions for customers in the IBM i5 (midrange) arena.  Today’s action creates a fit, “like two pieces of a puzzle,” says Vanguard President and CEO Dave Engberg.

Because the two firms have been working together for years, their IMS/21 and EliteForms software offerings are already integrated.  Signature capture, E-mail and Fax integration are under development.

Vanguard delivers high volume document scanning, storage and workflow applications, as well as transaction-intensive Document, Content and Records Management solutions for PC and client/server platforms and the IBM midrange (System i5).  Elite offers Forms Creation and PDF creation natively on the i5 without the use of AFP.  Elite also offers Fax, Secure Laser Checks and Signature Capture with Forms Merge especially for the IBM midrange (System i5).  Elite will roll out its Windows version in the 1st Quarter 2007.
