Elite Document Solutions, Inc. Announces its Release of
Version 5.3 for its award-winning iSeries (AS/400) Electronic Document
Management Solutions, eliteSUITE!
Lake Forest, California (October 3, 2003) - Elite Document Solutions,
Inc. announces the immediate release of its eliteSUITE version 5.3
for the iSeries (AS/400). The new version of the eliteSUITE encompasses
many new powerful features to enhance electronic forms processing
and distribution. This was announced today by Andrew Rackauckas,
President of Elite Document Solutions, Inc.
In eliteSUITE 5.3, companies now have the ability to dynamically
call in images stored anywhere on a network, bring the images back
to the iSeries and combine them with any electronic document produced
such as catalogs or product quotes. The software looks at pre-defined
conditions to determine where images are and where to place them
in the electronic document. With this feature, signatures captured
on hard-wired or wireless devices can be automatically brought back
to the iSeries, merged with invoices or delivery receipts and emailed
immediately to your customers or vendors.
In addition, 5.3 has the ability to create integrated grids, line
draw and shading which flows with the spool data for a more polished
look for report generation and distribution.
No release is complete without complex format conditioning. This
feature gives companies the ability to set multiple conditional
instructions for a single piece of data; processing contracts or
declaration sheets in an electronic environment is more efficient
and functional for easier distribution. There are no limits to document
pages that can be combined and processed for printing or email.
Not only can multiple conditional instructions be set but in 5.3
multiple conditional formatting rules over a single spool file can
be defined as well. Combining lines of data or addressing user notes
for invoicing or statements makes electronic document processing
more appealing. The compression of lines in a single block of fields
is also a part of version 5.3. This eliminates the need for programming
changes to omit lines that occur in blocks of data such as what
appears in address fields.
To further enhance the eliteSUITE, in the eliteMAIL module comma-delimited
and tab-delimited formatting for data exchange between the iSeries
flat files and PC programs has been added for email distribution.
According to Andrew Rackauckas, President of Elite Document Solutions,

images and signatures from network storage and dynamically add them
